Have you ever noticed that the left is everything they accuse the right of being? Bigoted. Intolerant. Bullies. Take for example this man who went on a childlike verbal tantrum on a Jet Blue plane to Ivanka Trump and her children.
Apparently the guy saw Ivanka on the plane and, after a careful consultation with his equally elitist husband, decided he couldn’t help but start yelling at her for her Dad ruining the country.
First of all, genius, the guy isn’t President yet, so your pathetic hysteria about the country being ruined is going to fall on deaf ears to all generally rational people. All you’ve accomplished is making a fool of yourself right in front of your kid and who knows how many others.
Jet Blue proceeded to remove the crazy man from the plane as any rational business would do in such a situation of immense disturbance to their customers. Airports, i’m told, are often on high alert when people start screaming on planes. Who knew? He’s lucky the air marshal didn’t get up and deliver a rubber bullet up his rear end. Nonetheless, as the crazy man was escorted off the plane, he apparently screamed “You’re kicking me off for expressing my opinion?!!”
No, no young toddler, you’re being removed because you’re a grown ass man screaming on a plane in a post 9/11 world. You’re being removed because you’re being a jerk and ruining everyone’s day who just want to get cozy on the plane like a bunch of sardines, have their sip of coke and 8 peanuts, and get to their freaking destination without some whack job screaming in their ears. It has literally nothing to do with expressing your opinion. You could’ve started shouting Ivanka’s opinions at her and I promise you would’ve encountered the same results. Should you require evidence, I would direct your attention to every other person on the plane with a pulse who didn’t get thrown off. I myself often express my opinion on a plane, occasionally in disagreement over people like you, and I never get thrown off. It’s called being a functioning adult.
Since you got married and adopted a kid, you are now, somewhat unfortunately it seems, what we grown-ups like to call a ‘role model’. It’s no longer just a fun game you play with your husband, it’s this thing where you continuously mentor your young child by showing them examples of how to behave. You didn’t do so hot today, did you? It’s okay, you’ll have plenty of other opportunities.
Should you happen to find yourself on a plane with Ivanka Trump again – which, if restraining orders a still a thing, isn’t all that likely – maybe try displaying a basic set of common manners and a modicum of self-respect. Have some dignity. Try engaging her in conversation like a decent human being capable of expressing a rational thought. I could imagine that had you done this instead of spouting off like a child on a playground who isn’t getting their way, Ivanka might’ve spoken with you and addressed some of your concerns. That would have been a much more beneficial use of words. Yes, she’d have been a little annoyed that she had to entertain you and her kids at the same time, but she volunteered herself into the role so i’d say that’s fair game. Perhaps, had you done this, you wouldn’t have agreed on much of anything, but that’s okay and quite common, even between friends. Additionally, you and your family would’ve made it to your home without having your faces plastered all over the internet in utter embarrassment.
I know this is becoming cliche to say and is often said for the wrong reasons, but i’ll go ahead and say it. If you want to know why Donald Trump won (and managed to ruin the country before taking office, according to you), then look no further than your own childish actions on this plane.
